RELEVANCE OF SWAMI VIVEKANANDA'S IDEAS IN MODERN EDUCATION Value Education:- Here, Education is conceived in the broad sense, everything in the society plays an educational role. The formal education system is but part of the culture and values in the system are inevitably determined by the culture. Education is seen as an instrument for harnessing human drives, and as consequences, it becomes to some extent a method of behavior modification. Education preserves rather than changes social values. Education is seen to abide by existing culture norms of the society.
